BREAKING NEWS – Vaccine Requirement for Companies with 100 or more employees

President Biden announced on September 9, 2021 a new federal vaccine requirement.  A private company that employs more than 100 employees must require that employees are vaccinated or be tested for COVID on a weekly basis.  Additionally, any workers at a health facility that received federal Medicaid or Medicare will have a vaccine requirement.  Further, employees of the Executive Branch as well as contractors who perform work for the federal government will have vaccine mandate and no option of weekly testing.

The Department of Labor, OSHA will be responsible for issuing final rules and ensuring private employer compliance.  Substantial fines are expected for non-compliance.
